If you have been reading my past blog posts you know that I have very dry skin. I am forever on the quest for soft dewy hydrated skin. Here are my current favorite *Hydrating* skin care products that I find work extremely well for me.
I am going to list them in the order that I would use them in my routine.
Dr Brandt Pore Dermabrasion – Pore Perfecting Exfoliator – $58
Ok so this product isn’t exactly hydrating, but it isn’t drying. I got this exfoliator in a past BoxyCharm box, and ever since I have been using it 1-2 times a week. This product gently cleans my pores and gets rid of any dry dead skin…leaving my skin extremely soft.
Tarte Deep Dive Cleansing Gel – $25
I have tried out a lot of cleansers in my life, and I love this one the most. This cleansing gel not only smells amazing, but it cleans my skin and leaves it feeling extremely soft and hydrated without breaking me out or irritating my skin with harsh chemicals. It’s vegan and free of sulfates and artificial fragrances.
Ulta Dual Action Cleansing Brush System – $25
This is the cleansing brush that I use along with the Deep Dive Gel. It isn’t as fancy as a Foreo or a Clarisonic brush, but it works perfectly well for me. You can also buy different brushes for it, and the brush and refill accessories are often on sale at Ulta. You do have to use batteries with it so it isn’t exactly shower friendly, but it’s cheap and works well. I find that it helps make a difference in how clean my face gets.
Tarte Mermaid Skin Hyaluronic H2O Serum ($42) OR Tarte Maracuja Oil ($16-$68)
After cleansing the face I go in with one of these products. First it was the Maracuja Oil for a long time, but I recently bought the Mermaid Serum and I am in love with it. Both products are super hydrating and leave my skin feeling soft and plump…but I think I love the Mermaid Serum a little bit more. It just hydrates my skin just a little more and longer than the Maracuja Oil does.
Drink Of H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturizer ($39) OR Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Moisturizer ($10.97)
After my face serum I go in with a moisturizer. It usually is the Tarte Drink of H20…but when I’m on a budget I use the Shea Moisture Shea Butter Moisturizer. Both products hydrate my skin very well, but the Tarte H20 one hydrates just a little more. The Shea Moisture one, however, leaves my skin feeling a lot softer and smooth than the Tarte H20. So when my skin is going through a rougher texture I will use the Shea Moisture over the Tarte H20 for sure. I highly recommend both of these products!
So those are my current favorite *Hydrating* skin care products. I know that it’s mostly Tarte products, but Tarte just gets my skin. Stick with what works best for you right? And I find that all of these products work very well with my skin and make a huge difference leaving me hydrated, soft and plump. Have you tried any of these products? Do you like or dislike any of them? Let me know in the comments below I’d love to hear from you.
As always thank you so much for reading and until next time!
